The Bryce Canyon Winter Festival has something for everyone. There will be Free clinics, demos and tours. Events may be subject to change due to snow and weather conditions, but the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival will be held regardless of snow conditions.

In 1863 the first group of the pioneers came to Panguitch from Parowan under the leadership of Jens Neilson. They followed the route over the rugged Bear Valley, part of the Spanish Trail. Come celebrate the pioneer spirit of Panguitch!
Enjoy quilting classes a Chocolate festival, tractor parade, the Main Street Dinner theater play depicting the story of the quilt walk, trunk show, art show and much much more.

Join Scenic Byway 12 Committee volunteers, race volunteer staff, and community members for dinner and live music in the Cannonville Town Park on the evening of Friday July 8. Dinner is served starting 6 pm. $8 adult / $4 child (12 and under). Benefits Scenic Byway 12 Committee projects to enhance visitor and local residents' travel experience on Scenic Byway 12 All-American Road.

Half Marathon: 6:00A.M. - Starts at Ruby's Inn, Bryce - Ends in Cannonville Park. The 1/2 Marathon starts on Hwy 63, Bryce. Start elev. 7,652 ft - Finish at 5,800 ft.
5K Run/Walk: 6:30A.M. - 5K Run/Walk in Cannonville. The 5K is an out and back in Cannonville on the road to Kodachrome State Park.

Bryce Canyon's 7th annual GeoFest is scheduled for Thursday July 14, 15 and 16, 2016. Join park rangers for guided hikes, family-friendly geology programs, bus tours with a geologist, evening programs with special guest speakers, as well as exhibits and family oriented activities at the visitor center.
Tentative Schedule of Events (subject to change - all events both days except as noted):
Bryce Canyon Geology Hikes: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Friday & Saturday
(Group size limited, free ticket required)
Join a geologist for a moderately strenuous 3-mile hike in the amphitheater. Meet at the General Store and bring water.
Mossy Cave Hikes: 9 - 10:30 a.m. Friday & Saturday
(Group size limited, free ticket required)
Join a park geologist for an easy 1-mile round-trip hike at Mossy Cave Trail.
**Geology Bus Tours: 9 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Friday & Saturday
(Group size limited, reservations required)
Join a geologist for a 3.5 hr. roadside geology tour of Bryce Canyon
Exhibits, Information & Family Fun: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m

Take a guided tour or grab a map and head out on your own. Either way you will experience scenery and trails like you have never seen before. Garfield County trails border Bryce Canyon National Park and is home to Casto Canyon, one of the top ten most scenic trails in the U.S.
Join us in the evening for the ATV Rodeo. Enter and compete yourself or just cheer on friends, which you are sure to make a few new ones.

National Park Service’s 100th Birthday

The race begins at 9:00 am and is one of Utah’s most scenic races. 5 mile trail run/walk overlooks Bryce Canyon and winds through forests of ponderosa pine. The Course is gently rolling with an elevation of approx. 7,600 ft.

Start the run at 8355 ft above sea level on the Dixie National Forest, run down rolling hills into the beautiful town of Torrey, Utah at 6855 ft above sea level.
