    Join Scenic Byway 12 Committee volunteers, race volunteer staff, and community members for dinner and live music in the Cannonville Town Park on the evening of Friday July 10. This our 11th year partnering with the Bryce Canyon Half-Marathon and 5 K. Dinner is served starting 6 pm with $8 adult $4 child (12 and under). Benefits Scenic Byway 12 Committee projects to enhance visitor and local residents' travel experience on Scenic Byway 12 All-American Road.

    Half Marathon: 6:00A.M. - Starts at Ruby's Inn, Bryce - Ends in Cannonville Park. The 1/2 Marathon starts on Hwy 63, Bryce. Start elev. 7,652 ft - Finish at 5,800 ft. 5K Run/Walk: 6:30A.M. - 5K Run/Walk in Cannonville. If you're not interested in competing for cash, or would simply rather endure a shorter distance, start at 6:30 AM in Cannonville for the 5K Run/Walk. The 5K is an out and back in Cannonville on the road to Kodachrome State Park.

    Bryce Canyon's 6th annual GeoFest is scheduled for Friday July 17 and Saturday July 18, 2015. Join park rangers for guided hikes, family-friendly geology programs, bus tours with a geologist, evening programs with special guest speakers, as well as exhibits and family oriented activities at the visitor center. Tentative Schedule of Events (subject to change - all events both days except as noted): Canyon Geology Hikes: 8:30 a.m. (meet at General Store) Mossy Cave Hikes: 9 a.m. (sign-up required) Geology Bus Tours: 9 a.m. & 2 p.m. (3-1/2 hours, reservations required) Exhibits, Information & Family Fun: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Visitor Center Plaza) Geology for Kids: 10 a.m. (free ticket required) Geology Talks: 11:30 a.m. & 2 p.m. at Sunset Point Evening Programs: 8 p.m. at Bryce Canyon Lodge

    Join us August 19th through the 22nd 2015 and ride some of the most beautiful trails you will ever see. Take a guided tour or grab a map and head out on your own. Either way you will experience scenery and trails like you have never seen before. Garfield County trails border Bryce Canyon National Park and is home to Casto Canyon, one of the top ten most scenic trails in the U.S. Join us in the evening for the ATV Rodeo. Enter and compete yourself or just cheer on friends, which you are sure to make a few new ones. There will also be great deals from our Vendors and Sponsors, Food, Entertainment, and more for the entire family to enjoy. Poker Run will be held on Saturday with cash and prizes!!
